Kirkland's Before/After School Program: Balance for Busy Families

We offer a safe, reliable and enriching program to care for your elementary school children before and after school in Kirkland, WA that is designed for students ages 6 to 10. We understand how parents need a program where their student may continue learning beyond the school curriculum. Before/After School is a natural extension of the school day, fostering a student’s wonder and helping them build essential skills for life.

We facilitate balance with dedicated time for a snack, homework, engaging activities, and outdoor play. Students develop time management, healthy habits, and the essentials for teamwork.

Our Program Highlights

  • Homework Club: Your student has a dedicated space to continue studying classroom concepts with guidance from our teachers.
  • Skill-Building: We offer group games and social activities to help students develop collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership on our fun and interactive campus.
  • Outdoor Exercise: Movement and play are essential to a student’s health. Our program includes daily outdoor time, whether group activities or free space, ensuring your student gets the physical activity they need to focus.
  • Healthy Snacks: A nutritious snack is provided every day to keep students energized and focused.
  • Private Transportation: We offer safe and reliable transportation for convenience to and from local neighborhood schools, including Peter Kirk and Lakeview Elementary Schools. No additional charge for this service.

Fostering Independence & Responsibility

The core of Before/After School is helping students develop and exercise good judgment. By balancing a structured time for homework with creative, social, and active play, students learn to prioritize tasks and effectively manage their time. The environment is supportive and helps students build their social skills, confidence, and preparation for success in academics and personal challenges.
